When Jurassic Park came out back in 1993, the first location we are introduced to is San Jose, Costa Rica (Even though it was shot in Hawaii). The weird thing is, San Jose is located right in the center of the country, surrounded by volcanos and mountains, not near the coast as it was portrayed in the movie.
